I had called another pest control company due to squirrels in my attic. Long story short after over $1100, a stuck squirrel and the other companies lack of response, I got in touch with Nukingstreet Pest and Wildlife Control. Jeff was here in 3 hours! He is professional, courteous, thorough and knows what he is talking about. He did a full inspection of the crawl space/attic and found a squirrel tucked in the hangover near the roof line. Which I had told the other company. Jeff set traps in the attic and we waited. It took about 2-3weeks, but FINALLY the squirrel was caught!! I can not tell you how thrilled I am with this outcome! Jeff is the best and I will ONLY call him in the future!! Jeff, THANK YOU!!!Posted on Google![]()

Highly recommend this company. As soon as spring hit, my recently bought house was overrun with ants inside and also all over the yard, like an insane amount. I reached out to Nukingstreet as they had good reviews and I like to give business to local companies as I feel they have more authenticity and better customer service than big national chains. They came out and got the ant problem under control, and also took care of a mice issue I was having around the property. They have a quarterly service subscription option which in my opinion is well worth it, Iโve had it for a year and plan to continue with it as itโs nice not having to worry about bugs and mice anymore. The owner Jeff is a really nice guy, and if thereโs anything that needs follow up they always offer to come back out.Posted on Google![]()

Enfield is our home base. Our office is at 9 Moody Rd, so Enfield homes and businesses are on our routes every day. The town runs from the Connecticut River on its western border to the Scantic River and the Somers line in the east, and its 42,000 residents live in very different kinds of neighborhoods. Pest problems follow that variety.
Thompsonville grew up around the Bigelow-Sanford carpet mill, which built housing for its workers. Some of it still stands, and the old mill is now Bigelow Commons apartments. Older multifamily buildings share walls, plumbing and attics, so mice, cockroaches and bed bugs move between units easily. We treat the building as a whole and work with landlords and property managers on prevention, not just one apartment at a time.
Hazardville was a gunpowder-mill village from 1835 to 1913, and its historic district covers about 1,075 acres around Powder Hollow. Old wood-frame houses like these develop gaps at sills, chimneys and rooflines, which is how bats, squirrels and mice get in. We seal them in ways that suit older buildings.
The Enfield Street Historic District (listed on the National Register as the Enfield Historic District in 1979) runs about two miles along Enfield Street, U.S. Route 5, from Route 190 south to Old King Street. Its houses date from the mid-1700s to the early 1900s, and the stretch includes the 1773 Meetinghouse, the 1848 Congregational Church and the brick Orrin Thompson House. Most are wood-frame homes with original sills, clapboards and chimneys, so we see carpenter ants in softened timbers, bats and squirrels slipping in at the roofline, and mice working through fieldstone foundations. We inspect first, then seal with materials that respect the original building instead of tearing into it, and we time bat exclusions around Connecticut’s maternity season.
Scitico sits in eastern Enfield where the Scantic River crosses toward Somers, next to the Scitico section of Scantic River State Park and the remains of the old Hazard Powder Company works. Homes here back onto woods, stream banks and brushy field edges, which means ticks in the yard, mosquitoes after wet spells, and raccoons, skunks and woodchucks looking for shelter under decks and sheds. In fall, field mice push indoors through garage doors and foundation gaps. We combine tick and mosquito treatments around the yard’s edges with exclusion work on the house itself.
Properties near the Connecticut River, Scantic River State Park, Freshwater Brook and the lake at Shaker Pines deal with more mosquitoes, and with raccoons, skunks and woodchucks along the banks and field edges. We target mosquito breeding and resting areas and use exclusion to keep wildlife out from under decks and sheds.
Enfield’s I-91 corridor holds distribution centers, manufacturers and retail, including the Advance Auto Parts distribution center and Eppendorf’s manufacturing plant. Warehouses face rodents, birds and stored-product pests, and they need documented programs that stand up to audits. We set up monitoring, exclusion and reporting built for that.
We cover Thompsonville, Hazardville, Enfield Village, Scitico, Shaker Pines and every neighborhood in between, plus Suffield, Somers, East Windsor, Windsor Locks and nearby towns. Call (800) 466-9918 to book an inspection.

Mice are the most common call in Enfield, from older Thompsonville multifamily buildings to warehouses along I-91. We seal entry points instead of relying on poison. More about our rodent control.
Shared walls in apartment buildings let bed bugs spread between units. Our Bed Bug Central certified team treats the whole problem and follows up. More about our bed bug removal.
Ticks are a concern near Scantic River State Park, Powder Hollow and wooded lot edges. We treat the edges where they live. More about our tick control.
The Connecticut and Scantic rivers and Shaker Pines lake breed mosquitoes. We target standing water and resting areas. More about our mosquito control.
Pavement ants and carpenter ants are common in Enfield homes. We find the colony instead of chasing trails. More about our ant control.
Wasps and yellow jackets nest under eaves and in the ground in late summer. We remove nests safely. More about our wasp and hornet removal.
German cockroaches spread through shared plumbing in multifamily buildings and food businesses. We identify the species, then treat building-wide. More about our cockroach control.
Fleas come in on pets and wildlife. We coordinate indoor and yard treatment with your vet. More about our flea control.
One recurring plan. Complete protection. We identify entry points, treat the source, and keep common pests from ever getting comfortable in your home or business.
We inspect, identify, and eliminate pests at the source using proven treatment methods, then protect your space to prevent future infestations.
We walk the property inside and out to find entry points, moisture problems and whatever is feeding the problem, not just the pests themselves.
Mechanical fixes come first. When treatment is needed, we use targeted, low-toxicity products only where pests live and travel.
We seal the gaps that let pests in, then set up a follow-up or recurring visit so the problem stays solved.
Protection that fits your life โ not a rigid contract.
