I had called another pest control company due to squirrels in my attic. Long story short after over $1100, a stuck squirrel and the other companies lack of response, I got in touch with Nukingstreet Pest and Wildlife Control. Jeff was here in 3 hours! He is professional, courteous, thorough and knows what he is talking about. He did a full inspection of the crawl space/attic and found a squirrel tucked in the hangover near the roof line. Which I had told the other company. Jeff set traps in the attic and we waited. It took about 2-3weeks, but FINALLY the squirrel was caught!! I can not tell you how thrilled I am with this outcome! Jeff is the best and I will ONLY call him in the future!! Jeff, THANK YOU!!!Posted on Google![]()

Highly recommend this company. As soon as spring hit, my recently bought house was overrun with ants inside and also all over the yard, like an insane amount. I reached out to Nukingstreet as they had good reviews and I like to give business to local companies as I feel they have more authenticity and better customer service than big national chains. They came out and got the ant problem under control, and also took care of a mice issue I was having around the property. They have a quarterly service subscription option which in my opinion is well worth it, I’ve had it for a year and plan to continue with it as it’s nice not having to worry about bugs and mice anymore. The owner Jeff is a really nice guy, and if there’s anything that needs follow up they always offer to come back out.Posted on Google![]()

Windsor was settled in 1633, the first English settlement in Connecticut, and it still mixes colonial-era homes with shade tobacco fields, river floodplain and one of the region’s biggest business corridors. The Connecticut River forms the town’s eastern border, the Farmington River joins it here, and Rainbow Reservoir, Northwest Park and Windsor Meadows State Park add water and woods. Each part of town brings its own pest problems.
The Palisado Avenue Historic District along Route 159 has homes from the 1700s through the early 1900s, mostly two-story wood-frame houses. Old houses like these develop gaps at rooflines, chimneys and sills as they settle, which is how bats, squirrels and mice get in. We do exclusion work with materials suited to historic buildings.
Low ground along the Connecticut and Farmington rivers, Rainbow Reservoir and Windsor Meadows holds standing water after rain and spring flooding. That means more mosquitoes, and more raccoons, skunks and woodchucks along the field and riverbank edges. We target mosquito breeding and resting areas and keep wildlife out from under decks and sheds.
Shade-grown tobacco has been part of Windsor since 1900, when the first crop was planted on River Street in Poquonock, and a couple of large tobacco farms remain. Fields, barns and outbuildings give rodents and woodchucks shelter right next to residential streets. Homes near open fields see more mice in fall, so we seal foundations and garages before the weather turns.
Amazon is Windsor’s largest employer, and the Day Hill Road corridor near Bradley International Airport holds corporate campuses, warehouses and flex space. Facilities like these need documented rodent and bird programs, monitoring and exclusion that hold up to audits. We build programs for that, including AI remote monitoring for continuous rodent detection.
We cover Windsor Center, Poquonock, Wilson, Rainbow, Hayden Station and Deerfield, plus neighboring Bloomfield, Windsor Locks, East Granby, Hartford and South Windsor. Call (800) 466-9918 to book an inspection.
