I had called another pest control company due to squirrels in my attic. Long story short after over $1100, a stuck squirrel and the other companies lack of response, I got in touch with Nukingstreet Pest and Wildlife Control. Jeff was here in 3 hours! He is professional, courteous, thorough and knows what he is talking about. He did a full inspection of the crawl space/attic and found a squirrel tucked in the hangover near the roof line. Which I had told the other company. Jeff set traps in the attic and we waited. It took about 2-3weeks, but FINALLY the squirrel was caught!! I can not tell you how thrilled I am with this outcome! Jeff is the best and I will ONLY call him in the future!! Jeff, THANK YOU!!!Posted on Google![]()

Highly recommend this company. As soon as spring hit, my recently bought house was overrun with ants inside and also all over the yard, like an insane amount. I reached out to Nukingstreet as they had good reviews and I like to give business to local companies as I feel they have more authenticity and better customer service than big national chains. They came out and got the ant problem under control, and also took care of a mice issue I was having around the property. They have a quarterly service subscription option which in my opinion is well worth it, Iโve had it for a year and plan to continue with it as itโs nice not having to worry about bugs and mice anymore. The owner Jeff is a really nice guy, and if thereโs anything that needs follow up they always offer to come back out.Posted on Google![]()

Glastonbury starts on the banks of the Connecticut River and climbs east into wooded hills. In between are river meadows, orchards, brooks and some of the oldest houses in Connecticut. About 35,000 people live in neighborhoods ranging from 18th-century South Glastonbury to newer subdivisions in the eastern hills, and each brings different pest pressure.
Bear sightings in Glastonbury rose to 248 in 2025, which the state’s annual bear report called the most notable increase of any town, after years when sightings there were rare. Coyotes are regular visitors too. Bears are handled by CT DEEP and local police, not pest control. We help with what draws wildlife in and what follows: raided trash and bird feeders, and the raccoons, skunks and woodchucks that move under decks and sheds.
Farming is still part of Glastonbury, from orchards on Matson Hill and Woodland Street to river farmland in the Great Meadows along the Connecticut. Fields and orchards bring rodents, woodchucks, yellow jackets and stinging insects close to neighboring homes, especially in late summer and harvest season. We treat nests and seal homes before rodents move indoors in fall.
Glastonbury was settled in 1636 and still has about 150 houses built before 1800. Many line Main Street and the South Glastonbury historic district near the Rocky HillโGlastonbury Ferry, the nation’s oldest continuously operating ferry (since 1655). Old wood-frame houses develop gaps at sills, chimneys and rooflines, which is how bats, squirrels and mice get in. We do exclusion work that suits historic buildings.
Roaring Brook through Cotton Hollow Preserve, Great Pond Reserve, Blackledge Falls and the woods around Meshomasic State Forest give ticks and mosquitoes plenty of habitat. Yards backing onto these areas need the most attention. We treat the edges where ticks wait (leaf litter, stone walls and shaded borders) and target the standing water and shade where mosquitoes breed and rest.
Restaurants and retailers along Glastonbury Boulevard, Main Street and around Somerset Square need documented, audit-ready programs. We provide scheduled service, rodent monitoring and service records, including AI remote monitoring.
We cover Glastonbury Center, South Glastonbury, East Glastonbury, Addison, Buckingham, Hopewell and Welles Village, plus neighboring Wethersfield, Rocky Hill, East Hartford, Manchester, Marlborough and Portland. Call (800) 466-9918 to book an inspection.

Yes. Glastonbury logged 248 bear sightings in 2025, the most notable increase of any Connecticut town that year. Bears are managed by CT DEEP and police. We help remove what attracts wildlife and repair openings that smaller animals use.
In 2023 state testing, 4 of 27 blacklegged ticks submitted from Glastonbury carried the Lyme bacterium, about 15%. That is lower than the 26.5% statewide rate, but still a real risk for yards next to woods and brooks.
Yes. We seal bat, squirrel and rodent entry points with appropriate materials, without damaging original trim or masonry.
Colonies peak in August and September and are drawn to ripe fruit and sugary food. Ground nests near lawns and paths are the most dangerous. We locate and remove them safely.
It depends on the pest, the size of the property and what the inspection finds. We quote a clear price after the inspection and offer military and senior discounts. See our pricing page.
