I had called another pest control company due to squirrels in my attic. Long story short after over $1100, a stuck squirrel and the other companies lack of response, I got in touch with Nukingstreet Pest and Wildlife Control. Jeff was here in 3 hours! He is professional, courteous, thorough and knows what he is talking about. He did a full inspection of the crawl space/attic and found a squirrel tucked in the hangover near the roof line. Which I had told the other company. Jeff set traps in the attic and we waited. It took about 2-3weeks, but FINALLY the squirrel was caught!! I can not tell you how thrilled I am with this outcome! Jeff is the best and I will ONLY call him in the future!! Jeff, THANK YOU!!!Posted on Google![]()

Highly recommend this company. As soon as spring hit, my recently bought house was overrun with ants inside and also all over the yard, like an insane amount. I reached out to Nukingstreet as they had good reviews and I like to give business to local companies as I feel they have more authenticity and better customer service than big national chains. They came out and got the ant problem under control, and also took care of a mice issue I was having around the property. They have a quarterly service subscription option which in my opinion is well worth it, Iโve had it for a year and plan to continue with it as itโs nice not having to worry about bugs and mice anymore. The owner Jeff is a really nice guy, and if thereโs anything that needs follow up they always offer to come back out.Posted on Google![]()

Wildlife removal in Enfield is close to home for us: our office is at 9 Moody Rd, so we can usually get to an Enfield property quickly once you call. Enfield sits between the Connecticut River and the Scantic River, with Scantic River State Park, Freshwater Brook, the lake at Shaker Pines and plenty of wooded lot edges in between. Those corridors are how raccoons, skunks, woodchucks and opossums move through town, and the older homes in Thompsonville, Hazardville and along Enfield Street give bats and squirrels easy ways in. We remove them humanely, as a licensed nuisance wildlife control operator, and seal the opening so it does not happen again. Call (800) 466-9918.
Enfield Animal Control, part of the Enfield Police Department, handles stray and domestic animals and public-safety situations. Wild animals living in your attic, walls, chimney or under your deck are the homeowner’s responsibility, and that is the work we do. If an animal is acting sick or aggressive, or someone may have been bitten or scratched, call the police or animal control first.
Bats are one of the most common wildlife problems in Enfield’s older houses, where gaps at the ridge, gable ends and chimneys are easy to find. Bats are protected in Connecticut, so they are removed only by exclusion: one-way devices let them leave and keep them from returning, then we seal every opening. If a single bat is loose in the living space, keep pets out of the room and call us. If anyone may have touched it or woke up with it in the room, contact your doctor or the health department before it is released. See bat removal and exclusion.
We check for young before removing a raccoon, and we seal the gable vent, soffit or chimney it used once it is out. Customers describe exactly that in our reviews: a raccoon trapped and the vent it had been using closed up afterward. Squirrels are removed with one-way doors or traps and the roofline is closed with metal. Skunks, woodchucks and opossums are removed from under decks, porches and sheds, and we bury a wire barrier along the edge so they cannot dig back in. See raccoon removal and squirrel removal.
Sealing is the part that keeps the problem solved. We use steel mesh, hardware cloth, metal flashing and chimney caps sized to the animal, and fit them to older trim without tearing it out. Raccoon latrines and bat guano are removed with protective procedures, along with any soiled insulation. See exclusion and sealing and attic cleanup.

Early spring or from mid-August into fall, when no flightless pups are in the roost. In summer we inspect and seal the minor gaps, then finish the exclusion once the young can fly.
Yes. We locate the animal, remove it when it can be reached, and treat the area for odor. If it cannot be reached without opening the wall, we explain the options.
Not through the same opening. Sealing the entry point is part of every job, because otherwise another animal moves into the same space.
