I had called another pest control company due to squirrels in my attic. Long story short after over $1100, a stuck squirrel and the other companies lack of response, I got in touch with Nukingstreet Pest and Wildlife Control. Jeff was here in 3 hours! He is professional, courteous, thorough and knows what he is talking about. He did a full inspection of the crawl space/attic and found a squirrel tucked in the hangover near the roof line. Which I had told the other company. Jeff set traps in the attic and we waited. It took about 2-3weeks, but FINALLY the squirrel was caught!! I can not tell you how thrilled I am with this outcome! Jeff is the best and I will ONLY call him in the future!! Jeff, THANK YOU!!!Posted on Google![]()

Highly recommend this company. As soon as spring hit, my recently bought house was overrun with ants inside and also all over the yard, like an insane amount. I reached out to Nukingstreet as they had good reviews and I like to give business to local companies as I feel they have more authenticity and better customer service than big national chains. They came out and got the ant problem under control, and also took care of a mice issue I was having around the property. They have a quarterly service subscription option which in my opinion is well worth it, Iโve had it for a year and plan to continue with it as itโs nice not having to worry about bugs and mice anymore. The owner Jeff is a really nice guy, and if thereโs anything that needs follow up they always offer to come back out.Posted on Google![]()

Wildlife removal in Simsbury is a steady job because the town is built into wildlife habitat. Talcott Mountain and the western ridges, the Farmington River corridor, Stratton Brook State Park, the McLean Game Refuge and miles of old stone walls put raccoons, squirrels, bats, skunks and woodchucks within reach of almost every house. Nukingstreet Pest & Wildlife Control removes them humanely, then seals the opening they used, so the next animal cannot move into the same spot. Call (800) 466-9918.
Black bears are common in Simsbury too, but they are managed by CT DEEP and local police. We help with what bears leave behind: torn-open bins, damaged sheds and spilled feed that draw in smaller animals.
Simsbury Center, Tariffville, East Weatogue and Terry’s Plain are historic districts full of colonial and 19th-century houses. Over time their rooflines, gable vents, chimneys and sill plates open up just enough for a squirrel or a bat. Newer homes in West Simsbury and along the ridges have their own weak spots: ridge vents, soffit returns and decks built close to the woods. Finding those gaps is the main part of the job.
Every species is handled differently, and Connecticut has rules for how nuisance wildlife may be handled. Our approach follows them:
Removing the animal is half the job. We close the entry point with materials sized to the animal (steel mesh, hardware cloth, metal flashing and chimney caps) and fit them to older trim without damaging it. If the attic needs cleanup after raccoons or bats, we handle soiled insulation and droppings too. See exclusion and sealing.
For other pest problems in town, see pest control in Simsbury. For ticks in Simsbury yards, see mosquito and tick control in Simsbury. For an overview of every animal we handle, see wildlife removal in Connecticut.

One recurring plan. Complete protection. We identify entry points, treat the source, and keep common pests from ever getting comfortable in your home or business.
We inspect, identify, and eliminate pests at the source using proven treatment methods, then protect your space to prevent future infestations.
We identify the animal and find every opening, from the ridge vent to the foundation, and check for young before choosing a method.
Humane trapping or one-way exclusion, matched to the species and handled according to Connecticut's nuisance wildlife rules.
We close the way in with steel mesh, hardware cloth, flashing or a chimney cap, and clean up droppings and damaged insulation if needed.

Bears are handled by CT DEEP and local police, not pest control. Report sightings to CT DEEP. We can help afterward by securing bins, feeders and sheds and repairing damage that smaller animals use.
Timing is the best clue. Squirrels are active in the early morning and late afternoon. Raccoons are heavier and noisy at night. Bats make faint scratching and squeaking at dusk and dawn. Droppings and the size of the opening confirm it during the inspection.
We inspect and seal the secondary gaps in summer, but we do not exclude a roost while flightless pups are inside, roughly June to mid-August. The exclusion is scheduled once the young can fly.
Yes. Sealing the entry point is part of the job; without it, another animal moves into the same space. We use materials sized to the animal and suited to older homes.
Yes. Raccoon latrines and bat guano can carry disease, so we remove droppings and soiled insulation with protective procedures. See attic and guano cleanup.
